South Africa has taken a significant step in environmental conservation with the launch of the first-ever SANParks Biodiversity Offset Bank. The initiative aims to expand and manage protected areas while supporting sustainable economic development. The Offset Bank serves as a cornerstone of SANParks’ Vision 2040. This is centred on creating mega-living landscapes and interconnected areas where conservation is a catalyst for social upliftment and economic opportunity. SOUND

South African Coding and Robotics educator Nadine Smith, has been honoured with a 025 EDGE in Tech Athena Award, for Early Career Leadership.The award was presented by the Center for Information Technology Research and the Banatao Institute at the University of California.The South African teacher was the only recipient from Africa and one of just four global recipients of the award.Smith's accolade celebrates individuals who are leading the charge in creating technology ecosystems that are more diverse, equitable and impactful.

Heritage Auctions will host a special auction on June 13, featuring rare James Bond collectibles from both the books and films.
