Bertha Gxowa launches awarness walk for child protection week

The Bertha Gxowa Hospital Care Centre launched Child Protection Week with a 5km and 10km walk through Germiston east of Johannesburg, in order to raise awareness on child safety.

The event marks the start of a week-long campaign that runs from the 28th of May to the 4th of June, with a focuse on child protection.

MMC for Developmental Planning and Real Estate, Ald Nomadlozi Nkosi, joined the march and called on parents and educators to play an active role.

Mbombela hosts transport and motor show

The Transport and Motor show returned to the Mbombela stadium in Mpumalanga over the weekend.

The two-day event hosted families and individuals alike offering a vast display of transportation options from vintage cars, boats and trucks.

The show was aimed to educate attendees on different modes of tranport offerings and says the event is also a combination of the Transport Indaba.
