Late South African rapper Riky Rick, who became a powerful voice for mental health awareness, will be honoured with a memorial forest in the eastern Free State.
The Riky Rick Foundation and its partners will launch the Riky Rick and Anton Chaka Memorial Forest at Rustlers Valley on the 18th and 19th of July, paying tribute to the two men through tree planting.
Visitors will take part in tree planting, healing circles and community activities designed to encourage reflection and emotional wellbeing.
The living memorial aims to preserve Riky Rick's message of hope and openness around mental health while restoring the environment for future generations.
