South Africa will host a round of the FIM Motocross World Championship for the first time in 18 years when the world's top riders compete in Johannesburg this weekend.
The event takes place at Terra Topia on 4 and 5 July and forms part of the international MXGP calendar.
It will see leading international riders compete alongside South African talent, with organisers hoping to re establish the country as a regular stop on the world championship circuit.
The weekend will also feature fan zones, food stalls and family entertainment alongside the racing.

Secret Love Project launches winter campaign for Cape Town's homeless

The Secret Love Project has launched its annual Love Challenge to provide yellow rainsuits for people experiencing homelessness in Cape Town during the city's coldest time of the year.
The campaign encourages people to raise funds by taking part in activities such as running, cycling or walking. Last year's challenge raised more than R209,000, allowing the organisation to distribute 839 new rainsuits to people living on the streets.
With one week of this year's campaign remaining, the organisation is encouraging more people to get involved and help provide protection from the winter weather.

Missing terrier rescued after 11 day search on Table Mountain

A pet terrier named Pepper has been reunited with his owner after an extraordinary 11 day search on Table Mountain in Cape Town.
Pepper disappeared after being chased into dense bush while out on a walk. His owner, Erwin Clarence, searched the mountain every day, determined to find the dog that had become his closest companion after the loss of his wife.
The search grew into a community effort involving volunteers, drones, sniffer dogs and specialist rescue teams.
Pepper was eventually found stranded on a narrow cliff ledge and safely rescued after an overnight operation lasting eight hours.
