At an intimate dinner at the DaVinci Hotel in Sandton, Mngomezulu reflected on starting her business after giving birth to her first child, calling the brand her second baby.
Hosted by Lerato Kganyago and featuring performances by Naledi Aphiwe, the night blended glamour, gratitude, and worship.
Despite early criticism of her packaging, Mngomezulu said customers always returned — a testament to the brand’s lasting impact.

Wits Business School’s Shoe Drive Brings Happy Feet to Mid-Ennerdale Learner

Almost 600 pairs of school shoes were donated to children in need at Mid-Ennerdale Primary School, thanks to a heartwarming campaign by Wits Business School staff and students.
Launched in late 2024 by the WBS Sustainability Committee, the “Walk a Child to School” drive exceeded its original goal of 300 pairs, gaining momentum especially among MBA students.
The successful campaign culminated in a special handover event , attended by education officials, school leaders, councillors, and WBS representatives.
Prof Maurice Radebe highlighted how something as simple as a pair of shoes can transform a child’s school experience, offering hope and opportunity.
Building on this success, the committee plans further donations of shoes, computers, and furniture in partnership with other Wits departments
