South Africa's Career expo company, 3RC, has been running career guidance sessions across Johannesburg schools, helping learners explore future paths.
In April, Pinnacle College Linden, Reddford House Northcliff, and De La Salle Holy Cross College hosted activations for Grade 11s and matric students.
The sessions provided practical information, presentation and interactive exercises to help learners understand different careers and study options.
3RC says it helps students explore different paths and feel more confident about their future after school.

Santa Shoebox Project invites 2026 support applications from schools

The Santa Shoebox Project is inviting South African schools and Early Childhood Development centres to apply to receive support in 2026.
Applications open on 7 April and close on 23 April, with selection confirmed by mid-June.
Selected facilities will receive personalised shoeboxes containing food, clothing, stationery and toys, and may also get refurbished ECD spaces, reading corners, and teacher training.
The initiative focuses on vulnerable children in both urban and rural areas, helping them access necessities and support for early education.

Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town

The Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town will award R2.6 million in prizes this year.
The prize structure for the event taking place in April, is split between the Ultra Marathon and the Half Marathon, with elite male and female winners of the Ultra Marathon each receiving top prizes.
In the Half Marathon, winners will earn a prize money, with payouts across the top 10 and age categories.
Additional prize money has been allocated to top Western Province, South African and team athletes.
