Number of international tourists increases in SA

South Africa has seen an increase in the number of international tourists.
The Tourism Department recorded a 30 percent year on year increase in tourist arrivals in August this year, with over 6-million tourists visiting the country since the beginning of the year.
The majority of the tourists are from countries including Europe, Central and South America and the Middle East.
Tourism Minister, Patricia De Lille says the numbers tell a story of confidence and recovery;
