Story 1
Learners and staff at The King’s School Robin Hills marked World Hunger Day by dressing up as superheroes and teachers while donating canned food items for people in need.
The school collected hundreds of cans as learners took part in the initiative across both primary and high school levels in Robin Hills, in Randburg.
The donations will be handed over to Africa Food for Thought to support vulnerable communities facing food insecurity.
Teachers say the campaign encouraged learners to give back while using creativity and school spirit to support a local cause.
