Heartfelt stories, like that of teen Talana Mabitsela, reminded attendees that boys need guidance, care, and emotional support to thrive.
With new partnerships and a stronger focus on mentorship and education, the programme is helping raise a generation of responsible, respectful young men.

Organised by the SA branch of the International Women’s Peace Group, the event saw young artists use their creativity to promote empathy, unity, and harmony.
With vibrant performances, heartfelt messages, and strong community support, the competition inspired not only art but also a deeper commitment to peace.
Some winning artworks may even be showcased internationally — proving that peace can begin with a child’s brushstroke.

Monica and Craige Lancellas run the Winter Love Soup Project, serving soup and coffee every Tuesday, and rice with fresh vegetables every Thursday at 42 Tier Street, Randgate.
Now in its third year, the initiative continues to grow, reaching more underprivileged community members each season.
The project is centred on kindness and support, helping people stay nourished and warm during winter.
