Former Orlando Pirates captain, Lucky Lekgwathi, used his foundation to make Mandela Day special for the residents of the Reuven Old Age Home, in Turffontein in Johannesburg.

Kown to empower and unearth football talent in communities The Lucky Lekgwathi Foundation partnered with the Southdale Mall and spent their 67 minutes, to make a positive impact.

Elderly guests were treated to a memorable day of pampering, which included grooming services along with hearty meals, gift bags and live entertainment.
The day was aimed to not only honour the legacy of Nelson Mandela but also to bring joy and dignity to elderly citizens who are often overlooked.

A recipient of the SADC Medal Tebello Molete, served on board the SAS Amatola as the Chief mechanic during various operations and deployments, a duty that he executes with great pride.
