Tshwane launches youth education orientation programme

The City of Tshwane has launched its Youth Development Orientation Programme across five regions to connect students with career guidance and education support.
The programme, run by the Youth Development Unit, forms part of the city’s school campaign and will conclude on 27 March.
Through career expos held with various career centres, officials provide information on university and TVET admissions, financial aid, skills training and entrepreneurship opportunities.
The initiative targets the matric class of 2025, newly registered tertiary students, and learners in Grades 10 and 12.

Agri-Exports hit $15.1 billion high

The Agricultural Business Chamber of South Africa says higher production volumes and strong global demand helped the country’s agricultural sector reach $15.1 billion in exports in 2025.
Farmers and exporters maintained 7-consecutive years of growth despite trade disputes and reduced shipments to the US.
