SA shines at African Youth Games in Angola

Team South Africa has won six karate medals at the 2025 African Youth Games in Angola.
The team secured silver in Team Kata and individual medals in under-55kg kumite and girls’ +66kg kumite, kumite and individual kata.
The men’s Team Kata also won bronze.
Karate South Africa says the 2025 African Youth Games campaign marks a historic achievement for South Africa, with every athlete returning home with a medal for the first time in Karate South Africa’s history.
