Five primary schools in Eldorado Park have launched the Purposeful School Recycling Programme, aimed at teaching learners about waste separation, recycling, and environmental responsibility.

Trek4Mandela Coffee Table Book Launched

The Imbumba Foundation and Industrial Development Corporation have launched the Trek4Mandela coffee table book.
The book features notable South African figures, including Professor Thuli Madonsela and Sello Hatang, and highlights the spirit of unity and resilience.
Launched last Thursday at the IDC headquarters in Sandton the book showcases the organisation's journey to end period poverty and empower young girls across Africa through impactful climbs up Mount Kilimanjaro.
Since 2012, Trek4Mandela has reached over three million girls with dignity packs.
The foundation has also announced plans to expand globally with upcoming climbs in Italy and Australia, while also launching a campaign to break the Guinness World Record for simultaneous braaiing to raise funds for ending period poverty.
