Learners at Patrick Mashigo Primary School in Rietvallei, Kagiso, have received new school uniforms from the Motheo Community Development Foundation and Armscor.
The donation included jerseys, shirts, shoes, trousers, and skirts, bringing smiles and boosting the confidence of students.
The event featured performances from the learners, and educators welcomed the support for helping children focus on their education.
MCDF, active in the community for eight years, works with Armscor to support schools and provide resources to children in need.
The initiative ensures that every child feels included, supported, and ready to learn.

A Cape Town field ranger is being praised for his exceptional kindness and strength after helping a seventy year old hiker who injured her ankle while descending Lion’s Head.
The steep and rocky path made it impossible for her to walk, and Table Mountain National Park field ranger Robbie van der Ross responded immediately.
He carried her safely down the mountain in a full piggyback for the entire descent.
The National Park shared the story and thanked him for his dedication and quick action.

Two organ pieces written by a young Johann Sebastian Bach have been unveiled in Germany in a major discovery for the music world.
The works were confirmed as authentic after experts identified the handwriting of Bach’s former pupil Salomon Guenther John, who copied them around 1705.
The pieces have now been added to the official catalogue of Bach’s compositions.
They were performed for the first time in more than three centuries at St Thomas Church in Leipzig, where Bach once worked and is buried.
Researchers say the compositions offer rare insight into Bach’s early talent and add important new material to organ repertoire.
The Bach Archive in Leipzig continues to uncover works long believed to be lost.
