As winter temperatures drop across Gauteng, Midrand philanthropist Nagaraju Gurrala is mobilising businesses and community groups to provide blankets, food and other essentials to vulnerable residents.

Gauteng entrepreneur Kamogelo Selepe has won the R1-million top prize in the Mr Price Foundation's Bindzu Youth Fund programme.
His company, ArcaneEdge, developed an AI-powered platform that allows businesses to test marketing campaigns before spending advertising budgets.
ArcaneEdge recorded revenue growth of 486 percent during the programme, the highest among participating businesses.
The national competition attracted 1,692 applications and provided funding, mentorship and business support to young entrepreneurs across South Africa.
