The Mogorosi Foundation hosted its annual Christmas party at Joseph Gerald Old Age Home in Alexandra, on December 16, bringing joy to residents, particularly those without visiting family.
More than gifts and groceries, the foundation’s presence created moments of happiness and a sense of belonging.
Home manager Thandiwe Makhubela said the visits help reduce stress and support residents’ well-being.
Lebogang Mogorosi added that the foundation gives because they feel fortunate and want to make a difference, noting that Christmas is a season for family, giving, and celebration.
The foundation plans to make future celebrations even bigger while acknowledging the dedication of the home’s nursing staff.

An anonymous donor has brought relief to 260 families in Aberdeen, Eastern Cape, by paying off R132,500 in unpaid lay-bys at a PEP store.
