35 children complete five-day Drama Lab
Story 1
Thirty-five children aged seven to 11 completed a five-day Drama Lab at Rivonia Recreation Club in Paulshof last week, where they created and staged a mini-production.
The inaugural holiday programme trained participants in acting, movement, and teamwork through daily rehearsals led by the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy Johannesburg North West.
The children performed a festive production, How Rudolph the Very Clever Reindeer Saved Christmas Day, for parents and families last Friday.
Due to strong community participation, the academy added an additional facilitator to provide individual guidance.
Following the programme, the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy confirmed plans to offer drama classes again in 2026.
