The organisation hosted its first-ever community run at the West Rand School, bringing people of all ages and abilities together to raise both awareness and funds for families affected by the condition.
Participants, known as the muscle runners, collectively covered more than one hundred kilometres on the school’s track while sponsors and donors pledged their support.
The day was filled with energy, teamwork and a shared sense of purpose, with organisers confirming the event will now become an annual part of their fundraising calendar.

Davido Joins Scorpion Kings Concert in Pretoria

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Davido has been added to the line-up for Scorpion Kings Live with Friends, happening on 29 August at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
The announcement was made by amapiano producers Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, who called Davido a “family” member and the “perfect final piece” to their history-making lineup.
Alongside the Scorpion Kings, the concert will feature a stellar array of artists including Ami Faku, Cassper Nyovest, Mafikizolo, and Sjava.
The event will also pay tribute to South African music legend Caiphus Semenya with a live stage performance. Tickets are available now.
