Ten graduates from the Delicious Festival Traders Academy will showcase their culinary skills at this year’s DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival.
The academy, launched in 2023, equips small businesses with experience, mentorship, and market exposure.
Graduates will trade unique dishes along the festival’s “Delicious Mile,” from gourmet burgers to Afro-Mexican and township-inspired meals. Their training covers hygiene, costing, and customer engagement, preparing them for large-scale events.
The festival takes place this weekend, 20 and 21 September, at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, with Lauryn Hill headlining alongside a mix of international and local music, food, fashion, and art.
