Mobile clinics in the Northern Tygerberg district are helping bring healthcare services closer to rural farming communities in the Western Cape. For years, residents in areas such as Klipheuwel, Philadelphia, Mikpunt, and Joostenbergvlakte had to travel long distances or pay for transport to reach clinics. The mobile units now provide care to around 400 patients each month.The district spans more than 63,000 hectares and serves a rural population of over 512,000 people.
