The interviews took place at the (FSACCI) in Sandton, Johannesburg. The initiative gave graduates practical exposure to professional interview settings while helping them develop workplace readiness skills. The mentorship initiative is helping young job seekers build confidence, strengthen interview techniques and connect with potential employers as they prepare to enter the world of work.

Residents of Wentworth in Durban say annual soccer tournaments held over the Freedom Day and Workers’ Day long weekends brought hope and unity to a community often affected by gang violence. While many residents say fear, gunshots and police sirens have become part of daily life, the recent tournaments created a chance for people to come together through sport and community spirit.The Workers’ Day weekend tournament featured 16 teams competing in over-35, over-50 and senior divisions, with teams travelling from Pietermaritzburg and Gauteng to take part.
