The initiative gave graduates practical exposure to professional interview settings while helping them develop workplace readiness skills. The mentorship initiative is helping young job seekers build confidence, strengthen interview techniques and connect with potential employers as they prepare to enter the world of work.

A global study by UK furniture specialists Sharps has found that South Africans are the world’s most home-oriented nation, scoring 95 out of 100 based on time spent at home and enjoyment of staying in. The survey of over 3,000 people across 15 countries suggests a growing global trend of valuing the home as a place of comfort and wellbeing. South Africans recorded the highest emotional attachment score (74.3), showing strong personal connection to their homes. More than any other nation, South Africans are likely to protect their peace, 44% frequently decline invitations in favour of staying in, and nearly a third (31%) admit to feeling a genuine sense of relief when plans are cancelled.
