Life Green Group Foundation promotes sustainable gardening
Story 1
Young learners from Fourways Gardens Estate and Diepsloot got their hands dirty and their minds curious during an environmental education session on March 14, discovering how simple gardening choices can save water and protect nature.
The Life Green Group Foundation, which promotes sustainable gardening and environmental awareness in communities and schools, guided the children through water-wise planting, choosing low-water-use plants like succulents, and other eco-friendly practices.
By learning these practical skills, the children left the session not just with knowledge, but with a growing love for caring for the environment and a sense that even small actions can make a big difference.
