High school learners in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Eswatini can now enter the 2026 Allan Gray Entrepreneurship Challenge, with entries closing on 31 July.
The free online competition uses a business simulation game that allows learners to make decisions and build virtual retail businesses.
Participants can also pitch business ideas and compete for cash prizes and investment opportunities.
The challenge aims to introduce entrepreneurship skills to young people and encourage them to develop business ideas.

KuGompo Schools Get MANCOSA Mobile Libraries

Four primary schools in KuGompo City in the Eastern Cape have each received three mobile libraries from MANCOSA to support teaching and learning.
The schools have been affected by delays in receiving reading materials from the education department and a lack of fixed libraries.

Africa Rally Teams Raise R400,000 For Charities

Nineteen teams taking part in the Africa Rally have raised more than R400,000 for 19 charities before the event begins.
The rally will run from 4 to 25 July, with participants driving from South Africa to Tanzania and competing in a points-based challenge.
Teams have organised raffles, open days and drive-along events to raise funds.
Organisers aim to raise R1 million by the end of this year’s rally.
