ExED learners support Brakpan SPCA

Learners from ExED Private School have donated funds and volunteered their time at the Brakpan SPCA after raising money through their ExED On the Go project.
The learners used proceeds from selling warm drinks and treats to buy donations for the animal welfare organisation before helping to clean kennels and spend time with the animals.
The school thanked parents, sponsors, teachers and learners for supporting the initiative, which gave the SPCA much needed assistance.

The Love Your Nuts Foundation is developing a new Cancer Gaming App to help young people learn about cancer through interactive games, quizzes and challenges.
Founded by cancer survivor Torsten Koehler, the foundation says the app will educate users about different types of cancer, healthy lifestyles, warning signs and the importance of early detection.
The platform is designed for schools and youth organisations, with plans to roll it out across South Africa before expanding to other African countries.
