As part of its initiatives, the campaign demonstrated the dehorning of a rhino, a measure designed to decrease the animal's appeal to poachers.

The Department of Water and Sanitation is calling on all South Africans to join the 2025 Clear Rivers Campaign by cleaning up polluted rivers.
