TS Galaxy talent identification trials held in Midrand

The TS Galaxy National Football talent identification trials were held at the American International School of Johannesburg in Midrand, providing aspiring players with a rare opportunity to turn their dreams into reality.
The trials kicked off on the 5th of January and ran until the 10th of January featuring U13 to U20 boys and girls age groups.
The initiative drew aspiring players from across the country, who are eager to showcase their skills and earn a place within the professional football pipeline.

Matric Class of 2025 achieves record 88% pass rate

The Matric class of 2025 reached the highest pass rate in the country’s history, with an 88 % National Senior Certificate pass rate.
More than 920,000 candidates wrote the 2025 National Senior Certificate exams, marking the largest class in the country's history to sit for the final Matric Examinations.
KwaZulu-Natal achieved the highest pass rate at 90.6%, followed by the Free State in second place with 89.3%.
Gauteng secured third place with a pass rate of 89.06%.
The Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube
delivered the exam outcome in Johannesburg on Monday and says the results reflect the collective efforts of learners, educators and parents.
