Jo’burg Coffee Festival Brings South Africa’s Biggest Coffee Experience

Coffee lovers can look forward to the Jo’burg Coffee Festival from 29 to 31 May 2026 at the Fourways Mall Rooftop.
The festival, formerly the Specialty Coffee Expo, is South Africa’s largest coffee-focused event, blending specialty coffee with lifestyle, culture, and entertainment.
Highlights include the Roasters Village, where top South African specialty roasters showcase their craft, as well as Sample Bars, live demos, workshops by the African School of Coffees, and interactive brewing experiences.
Guests can also enjoy bakes, patisserie, food trucks, live music, craft beer and wine bars, and a curated market space.

Motlhabe ECD Centre Transformed in North West

Breadline Africa, the Ngangezwe Foundation, and local donors have completed a full infrastructure upgrade at the Tswelelopele Early Childhood Development Centre in Motlhabe Village, North West.
Unsafe classrooms, broken windows, and collapsing pit toilets have been replaced with modern classrooms, a kitchen, a sickbay, and low-flush toilets, providing children with a safe, high-quality learning environment.

The People of Joburg NPC will host a Community Wellness Day at Sinqobile Clinic on February 26, promoting cancer awareness, survivor support, and health equity.
The event brings together patients, survivors, families, healthcare professionals, and local leaders under the theme Wellness, awareness and ubuntu: Celebrating life beyond cancer.
Activities will include free cancer screenings, nutrition and wellness demonstrations, survivor stories, and interactive workshops on prevention and family support.
The initiative, part of a pilot project inspired by breast cancer survivor and advocate Henrietta van Kramberg, is a collaboration.
