Mayor Nasiphi Moya says the City of Tshwane’s refurbishment of the W Substation in Soshanguve is on track for completion by the end of March 2026. The project, which began in October 2025, includes structural repairs, replacement of outdated equipment, and security upgrades to strengthen the electricity supply.

South Africa’s Agricultural Exports Hit Record $15.1 Billion
Story 2
South Africa’s agricultural sector reached a record US 15.1 billion dollars in exports in 2025, a 10 percent increase from last year.
The growth marks the seventh consecutive year of expansion, despite trade challenges and slower shipments to the United States.
The Agricultural Business Chamber of South Africa says higher production volumes, strong global commodity prices, and demand for fruit, grains, wine, sugar and nuts drove the record.
Africa remains the largest market, followed by Asia and the Middle East, and the sector generated an estimated US 7.3 billion trade surplus.
Officials say the milestone highlights the resilience of South Africa’s farmers
