The yellow frame is one of seven across the city that provide citizens and tourists with a picture-perfect view of the scenery within Cape Town.
This new frame replaces the one that was removed from the Cape Town Station Forecourt, following precinct upgrades.
Managing director for Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Company, Wahida Parker, says this was a milestone.
