Redhill School hosts 2025 sports festival

The Redhill School in Morningside hosted the 2025 Redhill Sports Festival running from the 11th of September, in celebration of fast format high-energy sport, involving over 20 schools from across Gauteng.

The once traditional tournament has evolved into an innovative, multi-sport showdown, featuring shortened versions of classic school sports.

Now in its fourth year, the festival has grown from a tri-sport event into a fully-fledged, inclusive celebration of school sport.

The City of Cape Town has rolled out a fully digital Library service, which includes access to e-books and an online catalogue with both modern bestsellers and timeless classics.

The Mayoral committee member for Health, Councillor Francine Higham says the upgrade will transform the way Capetonians experience their libraries.

The MMC added that the new platform highlights the latest additions to the library network, ensuring that students, researchers and casual readers can easily track down their next great read.

Northwest gears up for flagship agricultural celebration

The Northwest Province is gearing up to host its flagship Northwest Agricultural Show, which will be held from Thursday.

The three-day showcase will feature masterclasses, exhibitions and opportunities for farmers to engage directly with key stakeholders including financial institutions and agribusiness leaders.

The Northwest MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Madoda Sambatha, says the show is designed to showcase and market agri-businesses, attract buyers and off-takers, and strengthen agricultural marketing while boosting agro-tourism.
