The Rosebank Homeless Association is asking the community for help as winter gets closer.

The group says many people still sleep outside in the cold, even though there are shelters and churches offering support.

They are in need of warm clothes, blankets, and shoes to help the homeless stay safe and warm during the winter months.

Donations can be dropped off at the collection box on the ground floor of the RMD office at Rosebank Mall.

South Africa is proudly celebrating Africa Month by highlighting the strong growth in tourism across the continent.
Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille says Africa’s tourism sector is recovering well.

In twenty twenty-four, South Africa welcomed eight point nine million tourists and supported one point six million jobs.

Most visitors came from other African countries, showing stronger regional connections.

The government is hopeful that even more jobs will be created through a new five-year growth plan, bringing a bright future for the tourism industry.
