PinkDrive brings free cancer screenings nationwide

PinkDrive is taking free cancer screening services to communities in KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga during July and August.
The mobile health units will provide breast, cervical, prostate and testicular cancer screenings, as well as basic health checks.
The outreach programme, supported by partners and the Department of Health, aims to reach about 9,000 people.
Residents can access the services by booking through their local clinics.

More than 700 volunteers packed 129,600 meals at GrandWest in Cape Town as part of Mandela Month activities.
Rise Against Hunger Africa organised the initiative to provide meals for about 563 children at Early Childhood Development centres across the Western Cape.
