Fourways Mall Plants 200 Trees to Enhance Local Environment

Fourways Mall is transforming grey pavements into green spaces by planting 200-trees along key roads nearby.
In collaboration with Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo, the mall received the trees as a donation to support the initiative.
The planting project, led by landscaper Ishmael Mutileni, focuses on Celtis Africana trees, which are evergreen, low-maintenance, and safe for surrounding roads.
The trees will line Winnie Mandela Drive, Fourways Boulevard, and Cedar Road.
A representative from the mall, Nicho Mbhumi says the project aims to enhance the environment and experience for locals and visitors alike.

Cape Town has been named the best city in the world by the Telegraph Travel Awards, claiming the title for the seventh time in a row.
Over 20,000 readers voted in the Telegraph Travel Awards which named The Mother City the best city in the world a head of Seville in Spain, Sydney in Australia, and Tokyo in Japan.
The Telegraph says Cape Town’s consistency makes it an easy pick, adding that very few places on earth can match the city’s photogenic qualities.
This includes the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, the beaches of Camps Bay and the Cape of Good Hope as well as the winelands to the east of the city, with fine vintages in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
