Fourways Mall Sows Seeds of Beauty with 200-Tree Planting Project

Fourways Mall is transforming grey pavements into green spaces by planting 200-trees along key roads nearby.
In collaboration with Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo, the mall received the trees as a donation to support the initiative.
The planting project, led by landscaper Ishmael Mutileni, focuses on Celtis Africana trees, which are ever-green, low-maintenance, and safe for surrounding roads.
The trees will line Winnie Mandela Drive, Fourways Boulevard, and Cedar Road.
A representative from the mall, Nicho Mbhumi says the project aims to enhance the environment and experience for locals and visitors alike.

Kaizer Motaung Receives Honorary Doctorate In Commerce From Wits

Kaizer Chiefs founder and chairperson, Kaizer Motaung has received an honorary doctorate in commerce from Wits University.
The university conferred the honour on Motaung in recognition of his outstanding contributions to South Africa.
This is the second honorary doctorate for Motaung after he received one from the University of Cape Town in July of 2022 for his contribution to football and social development in the country.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony Motaung expressed gratitude:
