FlySafair Named Most Punctual Airline in Middle East and Africa

South Africa’s FlySafair has been named the most punctual airline in the Middle East and Africa.
According to Cirium’s annual On-Time Performance Review, the airline recorded an on-time performance rate of just over 91 percent in 2025.
FlySafair also completed nearly 99 percent of its scheduled flights, keeping cancellations among the lowest in the region.
The airline says the achievement reflects strong operational discipline and coordination, with close to one million passengers flying in December alone.
Cirium’s global review ranked Aeromexico as the world’s most punctual airline and recognised Qatar Airways for operational excellence.

Emthonjeni Juvenile Centre Hopes for 10th Straight 100 Percent Matric Pass

Emthonjeni Juvenile Centre in Baviaanspoort, Gauteng, is hoping to achieve 10 consecutive years of a 100 percent matric pass rate as it awaits the 2025 results for correctional services schools.
Principal Kgaume Modiba said he is confident the Class of 2025 will uphold the centre’s record, crediting the dedication of learners and teachers.
The centre focuses on rehabilitation through education and vocational training. Last year, its top student was admitted to the University of the Witwatersrand.
Class representative Tshepo Magagane, serving a 10-year sentence, described completing matric as a turning point and is aiming for seven distinctions

A young Texan couple shared a heartwarming moment when Sean Folloder enlisted the help of a preschool class to surprise his fiancée, Zoe Kampf, with a bridal shower at her classroom in Houston’s Shlenker School.
The children, dressed in floral garlands and bow ties, presented Kampf with a tiara and sash, while the classroom was decorated with cookies and festive touches.
Folloder, who first met Zoe at the school as a child, said it was a joy to see her so surprised.
