Alpha Security Forum Launches Community-Driven Alpha Care Unit in Pretoria East
Story 1
The Alpha Security Forum in Pretoria East has launched the Alpha Care Unit, a community initiative providing short-term support to residents and animals in temporary need.
Director Aris Ruyter says the project goes beyond traditional security, focusing on practical assistance rather than long-term dependency. Support is coordinated case by case and works alongside other NPOs to complement existing services.
The unit helps individuals, families, and animals, relying on volunteers and donations of food, toiletries, and pet supplies. Residents can get involved via the forum’s WhatsApp group to receive updates and volunteer opportunities.
