CPF applauds community partnerships in improving safety across Sandton

The Sandton Community Policing Forum has expressed its gratitude to the organisations and residents who played a role in keeping the area safer throughout 2025.
The CPF commended the collective efforts of service providers, private security companies, the South African Police Service, the JMPD, emergency medical services, local businesses and community members, that partnered with the forum over the course of the year to enhance safety and security in the area.
The CPF says rapid response efforts, coordinated information sharing and a strong spirit of cooperation have played a key role in enhancing safety throughout Sandton.
Aspen Healthcare also received a special mention for opening its facilities to host the weekly Sandton Security Forum meetings.

South African rugby coach Rassie Erasmus is bringing fans together for a Christmas morning walk along the Cape Town coast.
The public Christmas Day walk first took place in December 2024 and quickly became a widely shared social media event.
Erasmus posted an open invitation on social media platform X, encouraging those who are interested to join him for a six-kilometre walk along the Blouberg beachfront on the 25th of December at 6am.
