Two learners from Adams College south of Durban will be representing South Africa in Sweden in a global science competition.

Grade 11 learners Elihle Msomi and Sinazo Nzama
have built the Aqua Crusader — a pollution-fighting robot on a mission to rid rivers and oceans of harmful microplastics.

Msomi and Nzama won in the provincial and national competitions and will be competing with other countries from across the world under the People’s Choice Award next week.
