South Africa kicks off the defence of their Rugby Championship title against Australia at the
Emirates Airline Park precinct, in Johannesburg today.

The Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department is encouraging all rugby spectators who will be heading to the Stadium, to utilise the various alternative transport options available, in order to alleviate traffic congestion and enhance the overall match-day experience.

A dedicated Park-and-Ride system will be in operation from 13:00 to 15:00 this afternoon.

The South African School of Motion picure AFDA is proud to announce that its students and graduates have won five prestigious awards at the 2025 Simon Mabhunu Sabela Awards in July.

The annual Film and Television Awards, hosted by the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission, celebrate creative excellence across KZN’s film and television sectors.

Launched in 2013, the ceremony highlights regional talent in categories spanning acting, production, cinematography and cultural storytelling.

These awards reinforce AFDA’s significant role in building the next generation of storytellers and industry leaders.
