Village of Hope brought meals and support to residents of Sallies Hostel in Brakpan as part of its ongoing community outreach programme.
Residents received a meal and sweet treats during the visit, which was supported by Siyabonga Africa, Rise Against Hunger and Pick n Pay Mall@Carnival.
The organisation also runs feeding, clothing and mentorship programmes for vulnerable children and families.

Daveyton Learners Celebrate Literacy And Culture

One hundred and sixty six learners from nine Daveyton primary schools took part in the inaugural Phamisa Buka Literacy and Cultural Festival.
Hosted by the Phamisa Buka Foundation, the event featured spelling, read aloud and cultural performance competitions, giving learners a platform to develop their skills and creativity.
Moshoeshoe Primary learners won both the Spelling Bee and read aloud competitions, while Ntsikana Primary took first place for cultural performances.
