A community event in Johannesburg combined a run with free skin screenings and conversations about the importance of detecting skin cancer early.
Bioderma hosted the event in partnership with Sunday Shuffle, giving members of the public an opportunity to take part in physical activity before having their skin checked by dermatologists and dermatology students.
The campaign has also visited Cape Town, with Durban next on the schedule.

The Limpopo Heritage and Food Festival will bring communities together through indigenous food, cultural experiences and storytelling.
The festival will take place on the 26th of September and 3 October, with masterclasses also forming part of the programme.
Founder of 1000 Limpopo Secrets, Thabiso Sekhula, says the aim is to pass on traditions and preserve the cultures in Limpopo.

The Sasol New Signatures Visual Arts Competition is showcasing emerging South African artists at the Pretoria Art Museum, with this year’s exhibition running until the 8th of November.
The competition provides a platform for artists to gain recognition and opportunities to develop their careers in the South African art industry.
This year, 123 artworks were selected from 938 entries submitted across the country.
Johannesburg artist Sphumelele Zondi was named the overall winner for her mixed media work, The Laundry Of A Nation, receiving R100,000 and a solo exhibition at the museum in 2027.
