Area coordinator Delight Major explained that, as the church is new to the area, they felt it was important to host an anti-drug campaign to support and engage the community.The march also highlighted other social challenges such as crime, violence, mental health struggles like depression, and the impact of broken families. At the same time, the young participants promoted messages of unity, hope, peace, and community support.

Disney+ will premiere Songs in Sign Language on April 27, featuring animated American Sign Language versions of popular songs from Walt Disney Animation Studios films.
The release, timed with National Deaf History Month, includes reimagined animated sequences of songs like “The Next Right Thing” from Frozen II, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto, and “Beyond” from Moana 2 .Director Hyrum Osmond collaborated with Deaf West Theatre to translate the emotion and meaning of the songs into expressive sign-language choreography. More than 20 animators created brand-new animation to bring the performances to life.
