Gerda Steyn won the women's Comrades Marathon from Durban to Pietermaritzburg on Sunday and set a new up-run record of 5 hours, 44 minutes and 53 seconds.
The victory was her fourth consecutive Comrades title and her fifth overall.
Nobukhosi Tshuma finished second, with Irvette van Zyl taking third place.
