Former learners donate jerseys to pupils
Story 2
Former Bovet Primary School learners have donated 100 jerseys to 100 current pupils at Bovet Primary School in Alexandra ahead of winter.
The donation was led by the group including the Ndaa Foundation and iRunWithThemba, alongside the Moubane Legacy Foundation and Vib Foundation, as part of a winter drive.
The initiative grew from an initial plan to donate 20 jerseys after fundraising efforts and a gala event organised by former learners.
The school has about 2,800 learners, and organisers say further support is still needed as winter continues.
