Trevor Noah to host Grammy Awards

South African comedian and former Daily Show host, Trevor Noah, is set to host the Grammy Awards for the 6th and final time.
He has been the main presenter of the ceremony every year since 2021.
Noah is also nominated this year for his audio narration of his children’s book Into the Uncut Grass.
Among this year’s top nominees are Kendrick Lamar, who leads with nine nods, Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny and Sabrina Carpenter.
The awards will be held in Los Angeles on 1 February.

Wildschutt to lead SA team at World Cross Country Championships

South Africa's Adriaan Wildschutt will lead the senior men's 10km race at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships in the US.
The 28-member team, sent by Athletics South Africa, will also feature Glenrose Xaba in her fifth consecutive World Cross Country Championships.
Xaba recently swept all 5-events in the 2025 SPAR Grand Prix series.
Coach Violet Semenya is confident the squad will compete effectively across events, including the senior mixed 4x2km relay and U20 men's and women's events.
