The ICC and Cricket South Africa have officially announced the 12 host venues for the 2027 Men's Cricket World Cup.
Eight cities in South Africa, three in Zimbabwe and Namibia's capital, Windhoek, have been selected to stage the matches, as the cricketing world comes together for the 14th edition of the tournament.

The tournament will showcase world-class cricket while celebrating the spirit of Ubuntu and the region's culture of connection and community.

New ETA system to streamline travel to South Africa

President Cyril Ramaphosa says the newly launched Electronic Travel Authorisation will help alleviate the country’s unemployment crisis.
The presisent launched the ETA system at OR Tambo International Airport in Kempton Park, on Wednesday.

The ETA replaces the slow, paper-based visa processing system with a fully digital one that uses biometrics and facial recognition.

Ramaphosa says the system is set to make it easy for investors to come into the country and for travelers to visit South Africa.

The prize aims to celebrate the work of both esteemed and emerging artists from the U.K and Ireland.
The Mercury Prize is awarded annually and recognizes artistic achievement in LPs across a range of genres. Recent winners include Sam Fender, Ezra Collective and Arlo Parks.

Among those featured on this year’s shortlist are acclaimed British singer-songwriter RAYE for her chart-toppingTHIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE and singer-songwriter Olivia Dean for the chart-topping The Art of Loving.
The prize will be awarded at a ceremony at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on the 22nd of October.
