Tshwane gears up to celebrate excellence in Tourism

The Tshwane Tourism Association says plans for the upcoming Tshwane Tourism Awards are proceeding smoothly.

The awards will recognize excellence across four key areas including: community contribution and sustainability, internal environment and team culture, business collaboration and the growth and improvement of enterprises—all embracing the “Welcome to the wildest capital in the world.” theme.

The awards serve as a platform to inspire best practices, uplift the Tourism sector and promote a safe, thriving and welcoming city.

The event is scheduled for Saturday the 16th of August at the Batter Boys Village in Montana.

The University of Fort Hare in the Eastern Cape has unveiled its purpose-built Early Childhood Care and Education centre that will provide practical training and assessment for Early Childhood Development student teachers.

The centre is part of the university’s drive to address the skills shortage in the field

The facility enables future educators to be trained in a live teaching environment, supported by one-way viewing booths that allow lecturers and students to observe real-time classroom interactions.
