Midrand kids carnival spreads Easter joy at Dreamhill International School

Dozens of children enjoyed a day of celebration in Midrand as the Connect to Feed Foundation hosted a kids carnival filled with games, music, dancing, food, water slides and jumping castles.
Around 77 children from local children’s homes took part in the Easter holiday event at Dreamhill International School, giving them a chance to enjoy a day of fun and connection in a safe and festive environment.
The initiative was supported by community sponsors and volunteers and forms part of ongoing efforts to support vulnerable families through food, clothing and school supplies.

Seseko and Microsoft boost digital skills in schools nationwide

Seseko, in partnership with Microsoft South Africa, has completed the first phase of its AI, robotics and coding programme, reaching 48 under resourced schools across all nine provinces.
The initiative is aimed at preparing learners for a more digital future by introducing hands on learning through robotics kits and coding tools inside classrooms.
Teachers also received specialised training to help integrate technology into everyday lessons, strengthening digital education delivery.
The programme is expected to expand further as partners work to widen access to tech skills for more learners across the country.
