SA to host 2026 International Space Summit Africa

Hauweng managing director Beulah Mosupye says next year's International Space Summit Africa aims to unlock Africa’s growing space economy, valued at over 350-billion-rand.
Hosted by international trade fairs organiser GBM Fairs and South African social tourism impact advocacy company Hauweng the summit will connect African space innovators, startups, and global industry leaders.
The event will be held at the CSIR International Convention Centre in Pretoria from 2 to 4 June next year.
Mosupye says the will convene expect 500 delegates as well as facilitate 3-thousand targeted business meetings.

Minister Chikunga presents SA's progress report on women's empowerment in China

Minister in the Presidency responsible for Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, Sindisiwe Chikunga is representing South Africa at the Global Leaders’ Meeting on Women in China.
Taking place in Beijing, the two-day gathering aims to address pressing global issues, including digital gender divide, economic empowerment of women, and women's participation in governance and decision-making processes.
Supported by the United Nations Women, this year’s meeting which will conclude today, is convened under the theme; “One Shared Future: New and Accelerated Process for Women’s All-Round Development.”
